We had such a fulfilling Christmas morning. It was the perfect combination of quality and quantity.
First gift of the day were some "pillow pets" from Aunt Judy.
Malachi roared at his and was later found laying on Aimi Lark's ladybug and even later eating candy off the back of his pillow pet.
She She got the girls these AMAZING dolls that come with food and drink that magically disappears and she says the cutest (not annoying) phrases. These are a hit!
Malachi got an RC car from Pa Pa. You shake it, set it down, and it TAKES OFF! He kept saying what sounded like BUZZ (Lightyear) at the car. It is a Toy Story car, but Woody is driving.
My Dad got us a much needed digital camera. I am so excited! We know I like to document just about everything.
Granddad got a clothes hanging rack. He said he'd wanted one of those for 30 years!
Aunt Judy (my Dad's sister) was such a great helper this morning. She is so good with the kids, we love her.
All Jake asked for Christmas was a Texas Karate Academy shirt (my Uncle/my Dad's brother's studio). He trains MMA fighters and Jake went to a big title fight back in February. When I came out in May for Kayla's wedding Uncle Michael gave me a shirt to take back to Jake, he wears it all the time! Last night at the party I sent Jake with some $ to buy one. Michael told him he was all out of his size, Jake was a little sad but come this morning the joke was over! This gift brought tears to my eyes, Jake's excitement, the true appreciation from him, and the overall surprise factor was amazing and we can't forget that it's an actual FIGHTER shirt.
Aunt Judy got us all these blankets with sleeves. I'll admit I thought these were cheesy when I first saw them but if it says anything, I'm blogging while wearing my pink camo one right now.
I love this picture of my Dad.
"A NEW TOOTHBRUSH!"
Mali Su was found snacking on the treats from their stockings continually after presents.
Good thing Pa Pa bought some healthier ones!

We had a good laugh when somehow Malachi's giraffe got stuck on the back flap of his pajamas. He tried for a bit to get it off before it fell off on its own and he started laughing with us.
Granddaddy Charlie really struck gold with these animals.
Malachi LOVES CARS and ANIMALS. VROOM and ROAR sounds are his specialty.

We had a fabulous Christmas morning! I don't know if it could have been more perfect. Seriously the perfect balance of quality and quantity, Thanks Dad, Aunt Judy, Granddaddy, and She She. I know these pictures don't show all that was given and got but believe me when I say, PERFECT Christmas Eve and Christmas Morning.
I did want to add in just how awesome of a job Santa did on our stockings. We got gift cards for a DATE night to the movies and the restaurant here called Cheddar's that has a MONTE CRISTO sandwich just for Jake. In Jake's stocking was some awesome man gifts that solidified to us that Santa knows his stuff!
Merry Christmas from Texas Y'all!
