Pictures from our trip off our phones

We've spent a lot of time working on our TX house to get it all ready for renters.  The kids have been troopers, even when we sit in the yard and have a poptart picnic.
My mom found an old TELETUBBIES tape of Brody's that even had his name on it.  He loved TELETUBBIES as a little boy.
Christmas morning Santa left us some stockings.
Malachi is REALLY into running off and laughing as you call after/chase after him.  Sometimes it's funny, sometimes it's not.
Pa Pa Tim got the kids flash lights of their very own so they'd quit stealing his big heavy duty one off the kitchen counter.
Mali Su is always sweet and humors me for a picture.
The Sellers have a HUGE Christmas party at their house.  We were excited to see everyone and got there right before the volcano of wrapping paper exploded.  Then my cousin David started a wrapping paper war, quite the event.
It was great to be with all my siblings this visit!
We were even able to make a quick stop at my Mom's Dad's house, Pa Pa Kirbow this visit.
Remember how I told you Aimi Lark was anxious for her birthday?  I used the oven light to let her watch it as it baked.

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
