Ward Christmas Party

I've said it before but I'll say it again,
Our ward ROCKS!
Our Christmas party was outside,
because when it's 68 degrees in FL you can do that.

 They had LIVE music.
 They served everyone dinner while seated in front of the nativity.
 Shepard's Pie, so appropriate.
They started the show.
 The live nativity and music kept the kids seated.  Aimi Lark asked why the one angel had glasses.  We told her sometimes angels need glasses on Earth but you don't need glasses in heaven.  She told me that the one angel (on the left) was in heaven and the other angel wearing glasses (on the right) was on Earth. 
 Even the little drummer boy paid baby Jesus a visit.
 Malachi was so tired and cuddly.  He was wallowing around and finally seemed to get comfortable on Uncle Brody.
I love our ward!

    Can I just say I just love all your pictures and posts on your super cute family. LOVED the shillig 1 thanksigiving posts, too many to comment on all but trust me they were all priceless and way cute pictures! You look so beautiful Caroline and you two have such adorable babies. They make me smile. Luv you

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

 We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
