I've been taking pictures from different cameras this trip so that is why they are all out of sorts in these posts.
Aimi Lark turned 4, we were so excited to have her a family party here.
Great Granddad Charlie gave her and Mali Su PRINCESS UMBRELLAS and I think that might have been the biggest hit of the party.
Somehow Aimi Lark knew on her own to pull the candles out and suck off the chocolate after she blew out the candles.
She LOVED this umbrella!
Out came the bicycle! A PRINCESS bicycle!
Aunt Judy brought an amazing meal and got Aimi Lark the bell and helmet to complete the bicycle party.
We got Aimi Lark a PRINCESS tin of popcorn. On top were tons of accessories but the popcorn was the most loved. We recently took Aimi Lark on a movie date night with just me and Jake. While at the movie a cartoon of dancing popcorn came across the screen and ever since Aimi Lark associates dates with popcorn and she has really wanted some.
Aimi Lark decorated her own pan of brownies after they baked. She put on LOTS of sprinkles and picked out the candle colors while the other two took naps. She was too excited to sleep after church. Each time we checked on her she would ask if her birthday was ready so we just let her up and she helped with the brownies. She asked for a CHOCOLATE birthday when asked what she wanted for her birthday so brownies it was. To our girls parties are ALL ABOUT the type of cake and blowing out candles.
She She got her some lady bug pajamas that perfectly match her ladybug pillow pet!
After practicing inside Aimi Lark got to take her NEW BIKE for a spin. Jake's family has the tradition of getting a bicycle when you turn 4 years old. My Dad helped that tradition come true since the bike we bought her is still in the closet in FL waiting.
At the end of the night I asked Jake how he felt the party went and he said it was great. He then shared with me a moment he had during the party. When the bike was brought out and Aimi Lark got on it Jake was kneeling beside her. She looked over at him and said,
"I have to go now Daddy"
and Jake said he had a moment of emotion come over him as he realized that she is 4, in 14 years she really will have to go,
not just to ride her bike around the living room,
but go and grow up.
We love our sweet Aimi Lark. She is turning into quite the little lady. She is still more considerate, naturally kind, and just naturally a sweet person.

SO precious! :) happy Birthday little Aimi Lark!
