Today...

Today I tried out the video feature of my new digital camera. I heard the girls giggling in their room and found them playing like this... OH and turn up your speakers because my new digital camera records SOUND!!

After Aimi Lark's nap she decided to lay on the couch with her baby where I had been napping.
Daddy made steaks again for dinner and Aimi Lark of course had to help...Jake surprised me today by bringing home a bale of hay! I have wanted one for the Halloween party pictures! What a sweet husband I have!

Aimi Lark tried holding Mali Su on the hay bale but ended up with her in a choke hold, oops.

  1. How fun! Just make sure you know that you can actually save that footage somehow. I have tons of video from my sisters digital camera, but the files can't be uploaded to be made into dvd's so we have actual early walking or bath videos that can be watched anywhere but the computer. So frustrating!!!

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
