(the first time I held Aimi Lark)

It has only taken Aimi Lark 21 months to say...
MOM or MAMA
and now that she says it she YELLS it ALL DAY LONG!
She yells it from her bedroom...
She yells it while standing in front of the refrigirator...
She yells it when she shuts herself in the pantry...
She yells it when she can't get something to work properly...
She yells it to let me know she is done with her nap and wants out of bed...
Basically she yells it non-stop!
I love that she now can say my name and identifies who I am
but now I understand why my mom sometimes would tell us
we could not say "mama"
for the rest of the night...

ReplyDeleteOh, that is so sweet! I love when Lizzy calls me "Mama." It can get old when they say it non-stop.

Haha. Good for Aimi Lark to finally say it, but I hope she grows out of her screaming your name!
ReplyDeleteThat is an incredible newborn picture! There have been times in the past when I have gone into my bedroom and locked the door and told my children I was not available for anything for an hour. Sometimes the word, "Mama", is just overwhelming!
