These girls

seem to think that Mali Su has the COOLEST toys! They spend most of their day trying to "play" with her and this includes saying "HI" to her over and over, taking her pacifier (aimi lark) and shoving toys/food in her mouth. I have to watch her closely or she is likely to get too much LOVE from them.

    How cute! Mali su is their baby doll right?? They are already learning to play "mommy" lol

    It's so funny how toddlers act around babies! Ethan's cousins like to get in his face too, or come by and tap his face and say "baby", or poke his eye, or knock on his head, whatever it takes.

    Ya little kids playing with each other can get pretty fierce sometimes. But how fun that they are playing with Mali Su!

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

 We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
