I love this sweet girl!!!

Mali Su is so cute and so cuddly! I love it! Whenever I pick her up she gets so excited and buries her face into me and practically wraps her tiny arms around my neck and smiles the biggest smile. Tonight while Jake was playing on the computer she kept "attacking" me with "kisses" I LOVED IT!


She is so cute and sweet and loving and overall just plain happy! She is making the funniest noises lately. They are a coo at times and grunts at other times but they sure do keep us entertained (especially in the car when we can't see her but we can sure HEAR her!)

Here are some Mali Su moments:

On the 4th of July I found her asleep on her tummy and of course she was looking to the left and I didn't have the heart to turn her head.

This past week (July 4, 2008) I tried some first foods and first sippy cup drinking with her because she seemed like she was ready but I guess I was wrong. We "tried" but I guess we will wait awhile longer.

    I love those open mouth kisses from babies! Jordan keeps giving those to Christine and it is priceless!

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

 We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
