ONLINE SHOPPING REMINDS ME OF CHRISTMAS OR MY BIRTHDAY. YOU USUALLY HAVE A GOOD IDEA OF WHAT YOU ARE GETTING BUT YOU DON'T HAVE THE LUXURY OF INSTANT GRATIFICATION... YOU HAVE TO WAIT AND WAIT. I AM ENJOYING ONLINE SHOPPING BECAUSE OF NOW HAVING TWO CHILDREN BUT I AM SO ANTSY! I HAVE BEEN WAITING FOR THREE THINGS FOR SOME TIME...

1. MY DOUBLE STROLLER
2. 2007 BLOG BOOK
3. PACK OF 100 "FOREVER" STAMPS

IS IT SAD THAT I WANT TO CONTINUE TO SHOP FOR THINGS I NEED ONLINE SO I HAVE SOME FUN STUFF TO LOOK FORWARD TO DURING THE WEEK??? AND WITH FREE SHIPPING AND GOOD DEALS ONLINE... WHY NOT!?

    And everyone LOVES getting things in the mail! you may have to wait some time to get the things you order, but isn't it a great feeling when the UPS guy knocks on your door and says he has a package for you?

    I'm with you babe! I love surprises, but Lincoln doesn't. So he never gets me any and I always get them for him. He hates it! Maybe that's why I love to online shop. It's a surprise when it gets here!

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

 We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
