BABY BOTTLES


WELL TONIGHT WE BOUGHT A BREAST PUMP. JAKE CALLED ME TODAY AND SAID THAT HE HAS A SURPRISE PLANNED FOR WEDNESDAY THAT WILL BE AN ALL DAY THING SO I NEEDED TO TAKE THE NECESSARY STEPS TO LEAVE THE GIRLS FOR THAT LONG. SO I TOLD HIM I WOULD NEED A BREAST PUMP FOR MALI SU TO BE ABLE TO EAT. SO TONIGHT WHEN HE GOT OFF WORK WE GOT ONE. I "SPLURGED" AND GOT THE "MEDELA PUMP IN STYLE ADVANCED" AND IT IS GREAT. I KNOW I WILL HAVE TO GET ADJUSTED TO PUMPING BUT OVERALL IT SEEMS NICE. MALI SU EXPERIENCED HER FIRST BOTTLE AND JAKE WAS MORE THAN HAPPY TO FEED HER. WHEN WE GAVE AIMI LARK HER FIRST BOTTLE IT MADE HIM HAPPY TO BE ABLE TO FEED HER. HE LOVES THE CLOSENESS OF FEEDING HIS LITTLE ONES. SO NOW I JUST NEED TO GET TO PUMPING SOME BOTTLES FOR WEDNESDAY. WISH ME LUCK!

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

 We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
