BABY EXPO 2008

TODAY WE (JACKIE, MARLYSE, ASHLEY, ME, AND BABIES) HAD A GIRLS DAY AND WENT TO THE BABY EXPO! THERE WERE TONS OF VENDORS AND TONS OF FREE RAFFLES. I HAVEN'T WON ANYTHING AS OF YET BUT WHO KNOWS THEY COULD CALL ANYTIME WITH THAT FREE PACK N PLAY OR VACATION TO HAWAII :) BUT I'M NOT GETTING MY HOPES UP...
I DID HOWEVER GET OUT OF THERE WITHOUT SPENDING ANYTHING BUT ADMISSION AND LUNCH. SUPER IMPRESSIVE CONSIDERING THEY HAD EVERY CUTE AND CREATIVE BABY GADGET AND GIZMO THERE.




AND THE DOUBLE STROLLER I ORDERED A WEEK AGO IN HOPES THAT IT WOULD COME IN TIME FOR THE EXPO DIDN'T HAPPEN SO YES I DID PUSH AND CARRY MY GIRLS :)

    Yay for the Baby Expo! That was a lot of fun. Well, I'm thinking it was more fun than I remember. Not that I didn't enjoy myself but really it was just a lot of walking around with fun things to see. Anyways, I love the pic, thanks for emailing it to me! See you soon!

    Very Cute pictures! Looks like you had a great time! I love how Aimi Lark's leg is thrown over the side of the stroller, Kari does that exact same thing!! they gotta get comfortable! haha!


    Kudos for you to being able to push one in the stroller and carry one too!! your a Super Mom :o)

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

 We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
