School Girls

I was finally able to get my hands on these FROZEN movie "flip dolls" where there is Elsa on one side and Anna on the other.  The girls loved taking them in the car on their way to school.
Today is FIELD DAY for these girls so they get to wear "athletic" clothes for the first part of the day and then change into their uniform (of course).  I am still not a fan of uniforms.
I can't wait to hear about their day.  I  miss them so much during the day.  I am so glad that Mali Su is in a Kindergarten/1st grade class so she gets to do thing with Aimi Lark who is in 1st grade.  What a blessing they are to each other!  I love having my girls so close together, built in best friends.

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
