Perks of Working at Disney World

We were given special passes to ride "Seven Dwarfs Mine Train" before it opened to the general public.  It was super fun!
While waiting in line you can play a game like this.
You can put your hand under water and it plays music like a piano (there are many water spouts you can move your hand under).
I rode the ride 4 times in a row practically.  You can get off and then turn around at the exit and get back in line so people were and I followed suit.

While on the ride you have great views of the park.
The ride is longer than I expected and has a mix of roller coaster and animations/cute stuff.
I ended up getting sick at work after this.  I think I'm too "old" to ride roller coasters four times in a row...

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
