Magic Kingdom

I found myself with my children at Magic Kingdom this week.  My friend, Jill, hooked me up with a couple fast passes good for anything in the park so we wanted to meet Anna and Elsa from the movie FROZEN.  We first waited forever for the parade and Mali Su was sneaky and got some great photos.
The new FESTIVAL OF FANTASY parade is fabulous.  I love how much the kids enjoy it!
Character interaction makes waiting for the parade so you are front row worth it.

Mali Su took the car driving very seriously!
We finished our day and got caught in a DOWN POUR of the worst stinging rain kind.  We figured we were already wet and Disney has lighting rods all over the park so I didn't fear and we trudged down mainstreet.  We were the only ones around but by the time we got out the waterproof camera others started walking so we didn't have the street to ourselves anymore for the "ideal" photo in the rain but we still had fun.  I told the kids if they ever wanted to play in puddles now was the time.  We had a blast!
People made sure to tell me I had makeup all over my face.  My eyes were stinging from the rain and I'm sure makeup that got in them.  The lighting and thunder scared Mali Su to tears when we walked to the car.

The all slept good when we got home that's for sure!
I bought a photo pass card and have some professional pictures from when we met the princesses but I'm still figuring out when would be best to download them.

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
