NEW FANTASY LAND

The kids were in the "Story Time with Belle"
While in the "West Wing" thunder sounded and the kids turned around so frightened just as I snapped the picture.  They are looking at the rose in the glass case.
Last night when going to bed I posted on Facebook from my phone this:
"Just did the new Fantasy land at Walt Disney world with my three oldest tonight by myself, perfect weather, short lines, and a perfect meal at the "be our guest" restaurant. Living in Florida has great perks! But just to keep it real, Mali Su picked up a dead bird and Malachi lost his sunglasses on a ride seconds after I told him not to drop them and Aimi Lark broke a plate at dinner. But y'all, the good always out weighs the bad! Look for the good in life!"
That about sums up my little outing with my kids.

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
