I decided one Saturday while Jake was gone that I'd teach the kids all about the wonder, the joy, the fun, of garage/yard sales. I grew up going and thought it would be fun to teach them. Daddy doesn't care for yard sales (something about being traumatized in childhood having to watch people go through their stuff and not buy it when he was a kid and having their own family sales). So while Daddy was away, we played! We played board games we got for 50 cents each!
Malachi did not like yard sales. He said he was sad for the people who had to sell all their stuff. He said he didn't want to sell his stuff. The genetics from his Dad run deep I think!
We also went to Chick Fil A. Why you ask? Well because it rocks, they give a military discount, the kids play for hours, and sometimes when Dad is gone Mommy just doesn't want to make dinner
(and their bar-b-q sauce is soooo good).
Malachi LOVES this big wheel tricycle. He pushes it all the way to the top of our street/hill. He then takes off, never pedaling, feet up, flying down the road, screaming the whole way down. He loves it and so does our one neighbor who laughs hysterically at him. I think it sounds like someone is dying when he loudly screams down the hill but it's really funny to watch as he barrels down the road and at the height of his speed turns off into the grass and bounces to a slow stop.
How did I not know Chick-Fil-A has a military discount??? We LOVE CFA!!!
