I am guilty of wanting to keep Aimi Lark home from school ALL the time. I miss her, I want to have "family" time, and the list goes on and on. I'm doing a good job though at making sure she's there on time because I know she loves it.
Our pool has been green for almost 2 weeks! The pump went out and it's yuck-o. I think tomorrow we're good to swim though because it's clear!
Malachi told me the other day, "this is how you say I love you with your feet." We always sign I love you to each other with our hands, but he got creative.
Germany in EPCOT has HIPPOS. I'm in heaven.
This week is Key West with the whole family.
Next week is our cruise to the Bahamas with just me and my lovely husband.
We are going to work at the Bishop's Storehouse in Orlando tomorrow. I've never gone with Jake and Brody but I know it will be good to show the kids what it's about for a bit then take them to play at a park while Jake and Brody finish up.
We switched out the playroom for a media/game/TV/lounge type room. It's way fun and we've played a few dancing kinect games, they're FUN!
I cried as I buckled William in his car seat on Friday night. Whenever we've had people move out it's always exciting for them and for us as we get our house back and they move on to the next phase of their life. This time was different. I found myself crying as I hugged Kaylene goodbye. I am grateful for the last 6 months of bonding. I keep wishing we had done more than just live together but Jake reassured me that it was just fine. I love FL, I love the south, but sometimes I just miss living out West where everyone was just a drive away. Oh that and Cafe Rio and In N Out are sorely missed.
I think every time I blog random thoughts I need to organize my desk. It's worse than laundry or dishes. Papers, papers and more papers!
My friend Katie started this garage sale group on Facebook. She lives in this great community in Orlando and all the ladies list and sell their things at great prices. I am getting great deals but probably spending more than I have in ages, I'm not a big spender. I am excited tomorrow to check out some POTS AND PANS. I need some desperately and haven't bought any in our entire marriage. A girl on the site is selling the things from her second home, must be nice.
I'm loving our summer with Jake, don't know how I'll feel once he goes back to teaching and law school in the fall. Right now he just has law school at night.
Well off to snuggle in my bed and watch some TV while Jake finishes up his monthly family phone call, they're still going strong conference calling once a month, LOVE THAT!
Oh one last thing, Sabbath highlight for me was Malachi and Aimi Lark wanting to and sharing their testimonies. Then Malachi gave me the sweetest necklace he made in nursery. He loves me and adores me. I just love him!

ReplyDeleteI love the rambling too. It makes me feel like i'm sitting in your kitchen talking. So sad that Luke and Kaylene have moved out. But look at the bright side that means we can move in. ;) I'll start looking for jobs for Chad in FL.
