Above is the Mobile, Alabama tunnel. I love when the radio station cuts out because then you know you're officially under water.
We stopped in Louisiana to visit my brother Dillon.
The company he works for was having a BBQ so I had some boudin, YUM!
His truck he has paid off, so proud of him!
We had a girls' night before Marianne got married. We went to Cheddar's and ordered a bunch of stuff and just shared. Our bill was $25, I love Cheddar's.
I met my Dad, his Dad, his sister, and Sheila for breakfast at Waffle House. I love their pecan waffles and their hash browns with all the toppings. It was so fun!
Marianne and I spent the day before her wedding getting all pampered. Nails, toes, spray tan, and the gym. She gets her nails painted so I did too, they're quite fun.
See, spray tan. Not too bad.
Marianne turned into bridezilla for about 2 minutes at Kelly's when the clock struck midnight. Kelly was able to calm her down with a bottle of water.
Breakfast with the ladies from my Mom's side of the family was really fun. My Nanny brought us some cute jewelry and we just chatted and ate. Can you tell I love to go out to eat? I pretty much planned all my visits around food.
Look at those Kirbow eyes!
Looks better with sunglasses! We got a good laugh over that one.
We swung by my mom's best friend's (Jenna) parents. We visited with Me Me and PaPaw. They are the sweetest people you will ever meet. When I was born I came home from the hospital to their house.
Kelly is the make-up queen and did some peacock eyes for me and total airbrush quality makeup on the bride.
The wedding was in the backyard of my cousin Melissa's house. Marianne is my best friend/cousin and I loved all the uninterrupted girl time we had.
We drove back and had a quick stop off with Delaney, Blake, and Joby at the state line.
On the way to TX however my Mom pointed out this truck, it just screamed out to be texted to Jake.
Heading into Mobile, AL.
Another picture with my brother Dillon.
We did a few 5 minute stops just to say, "HI!" and my PaPaw Kirbow was one of those. He recently moved his whole horse ranch down the road. It was a gorgeous spread!
My darling Nana, I love stopping to see her. We had donuts together on our way to TX.
Me and the bride all sweaty as she was leaving. I'm working on getting real pictures from the wedding because right now I have just a few from my phone.
Marianne's sister and my cousin Jill, love her. She's amazing and I think I could talk to her every single day and be inspired and learn something new.

It was a four day trip, 2 driving, 2 in TX but well worth it!
