Disney's Typhoon Lagoon

 Since my siblings are here for the summer we all got passes to Disney's water parks.  It is so much fun living here!


 We were an absolute sight to see heading down the lazy river, 6 kids, 2 adults.
 The wave pool was INTENSE and just plain ol' awesome.
Solomon met another Solomon.  That was a first for us.
Of course it wouldn't be Disney without a little character greeting action.

    We told you that wave pool was amazing! Isn't that such a fun place to bring the kids? I love the kids area there. Glad yáll got to go but I'm a little jealous that you are able to go anytime you want! :) Thanks again for an amazing week last week! We will be forever indebted to yáll!

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

 We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
