Most likely our last Summer trip to Disney

  We met up with my fellow Vidorian friend, Ashleigh, at Magic Kingdom on Friday.  She, her husband, and their two kids came to FL for vacation.  It was great to see them!  I love living where so many people vacation.  It means plenty of visitors!!  Mali Su got to finally ride BIG THUNDER MOUNTAIN and I rode with Aimi Lark and our visitors on SPLASH MOUNTAIN.  They came over to our house Saturday night for dinner after sadly getting their nice stroller stolen at Animal Kingdom.  It was great catching up and I can't wait to see them again.

    Yay for seeing Ashleigh! Glad she' s doing well. I love your pictures of Disney- looks like so much fun, and Mali Su just out there waving at everyone! Her little arm probably hurt after all that waving :) So precious!

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

 We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
