These years have been coined, "the hotel years" as it seems we are always in a hotel so that we can maximize our time together. If Daddy is in the country we want to be with him! The kids had to potty so we went in the armory with Daddy and then waiting while he gathered all the things he needed to head to another armory. When we got to our hotel our room wasn't ready yet so Daddy exposed the kids to some classic music videos on his cell phone thanks to YouTube.
When we finally got in our room we were a little overwhelmed because it was pretty much ALL bathroom. There was a huge tub, separate sink/toilet area, a stand up shower, and your own sauna.
They gave us enough toiletries to bathe our family at least 5 times with and towel shaped swans were too fun not to mess up.
We laid around in bed for a good part of the day and once the sun was up and we had enjoyed breakfast we headed to the pool.
The pool was short lived because someone always has to use the bathroom. Even if we make them all go beforehand, someone ALWAYS has to go. I have to remind myself "it won't be like this for long" and that they will be all grown up before I know it. I have loved every stage of motherhood and do my best to embrace the now and never wish for days ahead.
They all sat in the sauna to get warmed up post swim. They were so funny in there.
We checked our of our hotel and found things to do well into the night when Daddy was finally released from "soldier work."
Next stop...
San Diego!
