We are living life in Jake's small mountain southern California hometown, actually in his childhood home. The kids are attending the small school here in town and we love it. I am finding it hard to find a routine here, but have no complaints. I am learning to go with the flow and have enjoyed all the travel in the last little while. I am trying not to over plan or have too many high expectations as things here seem to be more liquid. Jake is constantly traveling, but we are grateful for an amazing job and the opportunities it affords us. The kids and I have stayed busy visiting friends and family while he's away and I see the summer being more of that. I will continue to try and catch up my blog from the last few months. I am grateful for this record and how it helps us reflect back on all the blessings we have received in our lives. Making memories are important to me and blogging helps me keep track of all that.
Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.
