Where are Solomon's glasses?

We all went looking for Solomon's glasses this morning and as I rounded the corner I saw him bent over as if he was looking under a chair for them and I saw his glasses.  They were being worn as a belt!
He kept asking me, "ah see"  so I took lots of pictures to show him on the back of the camera.
Our neighbor brings us LOTS of oranges.  Since they are "juicers" I feed them to the kids outside.
We put Zelda on a stake in the yard so she can play too.  She just digs holes and rolls around on the ground mostly.
Malachi calls the big wheel his "motorcycle" and he will ride it down the hill rather quickly.
Oh and yes, they are still in their neon from last night.  They went straight to bed last night and even slept in this morning!  Daddy accidentally let us sleep til 6:30AM and all the kids stayed asleep til after 7AM when Jake and Aimi Lark had already left.  That NEVER happens, everyone in our house is up by 6 each day.  It was a nice morning to wake up after a good night of sleep and go play outside having juicy oranges for breakfast.

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
