Malachi hung the new Woody and Buzz ornament before we left for church.
Later that evening he was pushed, BY WOODY, couldn't resist the reference. But, he was pushed, right into a wall corner, busting his lip and bending his two front teeth back. Gratefully there is a pediatric dentist in our new ward (church). He was so kind to help us out on a Sunday evening. After some (lots) of care by Daddy, I think my nerves calmed down and he is only slightly damaged. There are always braces, right?
Uncle Brody kindly played dominoes with him well into the night. Also, it makes TOTAL sense here to be swimming on December 19th. TWICE in one day, swimming, less than a week before Christmas. Gotta love it.
I have a "one finger" rule I picked up from Jake's Aunt Carol. It is quite helpful seeing as the keyboard is out and accessible now. Solomon doesn't quite get the one finger rule, but he will.
We'll forgive Brody for not turning my phone when he took this photo. Jake doesn't like the top of his head all that much and the kids legs and feet are totally overrated.
After church I waited outside for Jake and Brody and the kids opened their gifts from their teachers, GIFTS, how cute and sweet. They're good to go on the art of wrapping paper ripping.
See, TWICE, on Dec. 19th, swimming in a non-heated pool.
Today we (me and Katie) did THREE projects. I can't wait to show you my PAINTED ottoman, measuring chart, and monogram above my bed. It's so exciting and fun and CHEAP. Who knew crafts could be things I didn't want to throw away (I'm not a stuff person) and could be CHEAP, I obviously didn't.
I have to go to Costco tomorrow, eek, hopefully it isn't too crowded.

I am getting so excited! And I can't wait to see your painted ottoman, so daring.
ReplyDeleteOh no! Poor Malachi! :( Woody is so mean! hahah I'm excited to see your crafts too! :)
