Tonight we headed up to SLC to visit temple square
and attend a wedding reception of one of Jake's close childhood friends from Frazier Park, CA, Jason Erickson.

Jake, Malachi and I attended the dinner
while my brothers watched the Joseph Smith movie in the Legacy Theater. After the reception had ended we took a quick tour of the conference center, listened to the Mormon Tabernacle Choir practice, saw the field on top of the roof of the conference center,
and the view of the city
that was unable to be seen due to a fire in the north and the south and a strong wind blowing smoke EVERYWHERE. We had such a wonderful evening followed by a great discussion about Jesus Christ and the Bible on the way home. I did realize tonight that I think I would like to have a "sit-down" style reception for any wedding I put on for my children. I really enjoyed tonight's dinner.
Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.
LOVE the boys haircuts!
