18 month old Mali Su

(Mali Su saying good-bye to Pa Pa Tim)

Mali Su LOVES to torture Aimi Lark. When they are in the back seat of our vehicle she will pretend to share a toy for example with Aimi Lark by leaning out to hand it to her and then pulling it back. This action makes Aimi Lark cry and then Mali Su will say "no" ever so calmly and Aimi Lark will then SCREAM and become uncontrollably upset as Mali Su sits calmly and says "no." This is just one example of her "torturing."

Mali Su can throw some POWERFUL tantrums. She has hit her head hard on more than one occasion.

Mali Su is so sweet when she says "sorry" and signs it.

Mali Su has a wide variety of facial expressions.

Mali Su will get to go to nursery on Sunday here at our ward in Provo, UT.

Mali Su loves to cuddle and has cuddled many times with Daddy in the few days we have been with him.

Mali Su's hair is getting longer and those curls are still hanging in there.

Mali Su's clumsiness is subsiding. She still has her moments that make me think she is just like her mommy but she has less bruises from falls these days.

Mali Su we love you! I love that you have such a happy disposition and are content with just about anything (even 27 hour car rides).

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
