I'm so excited!

We just decided to take our much anticipated CA vacation THIS WEEK! We will be leaving tomorrow after Jake gets off work and driving half-way and staying at a timeshare in Vegas thanks to Jake's parents. We will then finish our drive on Saturday. Monday we will go to the beach, Disneyland, and check into our hotel. We will be staying in the Disneyland Hotel for 2 nights that is just yards from the monorail that takes us right INTO the park! I am so excited for this trip. I think the girls will love it and so will my brothers. The day after we get back to UT Jake will be leaving for a TDY to South Carolina for 2-3 weeks. We will miss him so much! This TDY is also why we are moving up our CA vacation.

Also here are my cute cuddly girls sleeping together...Here Malachi and I are when we went to get our Disney tickets!!!
Poor Malachi has had a deep old man sounding cough since last night, I feel bad for him.

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

 We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
