We made AMAZING time on our trip back from Texas. I had no idea our new route back from TX would take us through Monticello, UT and Moab, UT. When passing through Monticello everyone was asleep and I couldn't find the LDS Temple there, I was bummed but kept driving and Malachi woke up just as we were entering Moab (he wanted breakfast). Jake filled up with gas and took over driving (I pulled the 12am-8am shift). We made an impromptu stop at Arches National Park. We got out and hiked (in our flip-flops)
up to the look-out for the Delicate Arch (that is on UT license plates).

My brothers Beau and Brody had so much fun climbing/hiking all over. They have never experienced anything like this because we are from "flat land."
Our trip back to UT from TX took us about 27 hours vs 31 like last time. We even stopped at Cheddar's for dinner in Amarillo for a MONTE CRISTO,
got lost once (my fault...silly small town roads on Navajo reservations without road signs), and toured Moab. I think we have found our PERFECT route!
Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.
I'm so glad you had a good trip! Y'all are such an amazing family- I think it's great that you took Beau and Brody with y'all ;) They're such good-looking boys and although I haven't been around them in a while- I'm impressed with them. You and Jake are such good examples :) Hope things get better for your mom. ♥
