11 Week Old Malachi

Malachi got to see his DADDY this week and it is so great for me to see my handsome men together.

Malachi likes for me to lay down and feed him. I then have to transfer him to where he sleeps. He is spoiled in this regard.
He did AMAZINGLY well on the trip home from TX to UT. We stopped about half as often as we did on the trip down to TX to feed him.

He is one big growing boy! Malachi's Uncle Kurt and Aunt Amy Shillig sent him this cute outfit but he must have his Daddy's feet b/c the shoes were too small but check out his super cute onesie and beanie! THANKS SHILLIG 3s!Malachi you bring me (and your family) so much joy.

  2. So Cute!!

And YES!!! I need adult contact!! haha I have been so sick with this baby but we SERIOUSLY need to hang out! My hours just went back down to 20 a week so no more 40 to 50 hr weeks so I should be a lot more available and no excuse to be flaky haha

  3. Did you take the paper wedge out of the tip of the shoes!?! That was a problem I had with a pair someone gave to Talon...they're very well hidden.

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
