GIRL's NIGHT!

Tonight we went on a GNO (thanks Jackie for that acronym)
Larkie and Ashley planned this out and even had shirts designed for us to wear.
The dads were kind enough to keep an eye on the girls for us.
I have not read any of the "TWILIGHT" books but I was super impressed with the movie!
I really LOVED the movie. Maybe it was because I hadn't read the books so I didn't have anything to compare it to but I thought the movie was GREAT!
I just kept wanting him to KISS HER! (and it made me want to kiss my sweet husband)
BELOW: the four who had read the books and the two who hadn't...

Thanks Ashley, Larkie, Kaylene, Audrey, & Marlyse for a great night!

  5. The movie was so not worth all that you put into it :).
I thought it was HORRIBLE!!! I will never see another one. Actually, I'm excited to re-read all the books.
Glad you had a good time. The books are way better than the movie. You would enjoy them.

  6. Y'all look so cute in your matching shirts! I'm jealous of your super cool girl group. I wish I was in a group. But that's hilarious that you loved the movie and were "super impressed"! I haven't read the books or seen the movie, but someone told me that the movie stunk so bad that everyone in the theater was laughing out loud. And it wasn't supposed to be a comedy. Now I'm curious...but I'll probably never get around to watching it.

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
