Magic Kingdom- Tomorrow Land

A friend invited us to the park today and I could not wait!  Solomon fell asleep on the way there and slept as I put him in the stroller, on the monorail to the park, and while we waited on another friend of my friends (for almost 2 hours, ouch).  The kids found LOTS of ways to entertain themselves just yards from THE HAPPIEST PLACE ON EARTH.  My friend, Laura, got me a stroller to use (for free) since her husband works at Disney.  I have read the reviews that these strollers are awesome (and they are).  We first rode the people mover and MAN we need to ride that more often, so relaxing.  Solomon rode the entire ride covering his eyes and peeking out from time to time, never saying a word.  Mali Su and Malachi had a blast checking out all of Tomorrow Land with our bird's eye view from the People Mover.  There was a part where we were in Space Mountain it looked like and it was dark FOREVER so Mali Su held M...

Board Games

I decided one Saturday while Jake was gone that I'd teach the kids all about the wonder, the joy, the fun, of garage/yard sales.  I grew up going and thought it would be fun to teach them.  Daddy doesn't care for yard sales (something about being traumatized in childhood having to watch people go through their stuff and not buy it when he was a kid and having their own family sales).  So while Daddy was away, we played!  We played board games we got for 50 cents each! Malachi did not like yard sales.  He said he was sad for the people who had to sell all their stuff.  He said he didn't want to sell his stuff.  The genetics from his Dad run deep I think!  We also went to Chick Fil A.  Why you ask?  Well because it rocks, they give a military discount, the kids play for hours, and sometimes when Dad is gone Mommy just doesn't want to make dinner  (and their bar-b-q sauce is soooo good).  Malachi LOVES this ...

DISNEY's Magic Kingdom

I met up with a friend from church who had some passes she needed to use.  Our annual passes are expired and we're waiting to renew them until our last full year here.  I took the three kids and we had fun, but I did miss Jake. Solomon was NOT a fan of the carousel.   (thanks Allie for the trip)  The new rides in the NEW Fantasyland are really cute.  I tried for a group picture, blurry, no good.  We tried for a group picture (again), no good. Side note:  this is what Malachi looks like during one of his silent angry moments.  This is his way of being a pain when he's angry/doesn't get his way.  I guess it's better than wailing and thrashing about on the ground, right?  Right.  I didn't even notice Solomon was asleep in the stroller thanks to trying to keep the silent protester functioning and walking.  Oh dear sweet amazing Chick Fil A.  We stopped there on our...
