As we were winding down on the end of the school year it seemed busier than ever. The girls especially seemed to have more homework in May than they'd had all year. We love their "10/10" school and with that comes LOTS of homework. I think that as long as it doesn't take away from family time I'm all for it. I think it will prepare them for BYU and a life of productivity. Scouts each week keeps us on our toes and even though I'm the worst scout Mom in the history of it all he has fun and forgives my shortcomings (like not getting him a non-hand-me-down shirt for the 2nd year in a row). I make sure he's there on time though because this Mom doesn't do tardy. Solomon has a hard time falling asleep so we try to read and sing to him before bed. Each morning though we either find him in someone else's bed or with way too many lights on in his room. I know he will outgrow it so I am trying to realize he's the youngest and has spent much of his life sharing a room and/or bed with his brother. May you were busy, but wonderful!
Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.
