Magic Kingdom

We took our first trip to Magic Kingdom since I started working there part time on the weekends.

Daddy gives the best pep/safety talks when we're all out and about.

The kids love the GOOFY roller coaster.  I still remember when Mali Su was just tall enough and it was "her ride."
A dance party with the Incredibles!?  I think it's a great idea!
We made out way to the Astro Orbiter ride and it is high up in the park and we were able to see the fireworks while flying through the air in little jets.
The boys are terrible drivers but love it anyway.
We had "fast passes" for the Electrical Parade and loved it.

We stayed so late, had so much fun, waited on hardly any rides.  It was fabulous!
I finally got to go to the CONFECTIONERY on Main Street.  The candy shop.  It was incredible.  Best carmel chocolate apple ever.
This evening went so well!  Until Solomon was caught drinking that water bottle below that didn't belong to our family and I turned in the stroller we rented with Mali Su sound asleep inside.  I'm sure that gave the workers a great story to tell!
This was today at Chick-fil-a.  I think we successfully wore them out from the night before!
In other news, Jake's GRADUATION attire/regalia came in!  We also just found out he should be able to sit for the AZ bar so we are frantically submitting his application (due TUESDAY).  It's so exciting and stressful all at the same time!  Never a free minute lately.  I do not enjoy "busy."  I would rather enjoy living and being "busy" doesn't let me do that as much as I'd like.  My goal is to get through this summer.

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
