Today I took the kids to the outdoor part of the museum here. It has parked tanks, helicopters, jeeps, and even a FIRE BASE! I told the kids to stand next to what they wanted their picture taken with.
Mali Su said, "this sign."
This seems to be a joint services base. I know the Air National Guard meets here as well. There were some Navy Planes so we were sure to take pictures for Beau, our future Sailor.
Just in case anyone thought this outing was an easy one I'll show you how the end went. Kids begin to "divide and conquer" when I tell them it is time to go (Solomon is hungry). Malachi SLOWLY (ever so slowly) brings up the rear. At one point he even sits down in the middle of the (no cars ever come by) road. I am patiently waiting and semi-laughing to myself. I always think to myself what I must look like if someone had a bird's eye view. Half the kids playing by the van, me with the stroller, and Malachi sitting 50 yards away in the middle of the road.
I finally get Malachi close enough to me and he takes the stroller from me and heads to the car.
50 piece chicken mcnuggets for lunch via the drive-thru (or drive way as my kids say),
and yes I will take a $1 any size fountain drink, thank-you kindly.
Looks like they had a blast!
