SICKNESS

SO MONDAY NIGHT...WELL ACTUALLY TUESDAY MORNING AT 3:30 AM AIMI LARK WOKE US UP BY SCREAMING AND HAVING SOME MAJOR TUMMY ISSUES. ON TUESDAY DAY SHE WAS VOMITING AND STILL HAVING TUMMY ISSUES. LAST NIGHT I BEGAN HAVING VOMITING AND TUMMY ISSUES AND NOW TODAY (WEDNESDAY) JAKE IS HAVING TUMMY ISSUES. WE ALL WENT TO THE DOCTOR TODAY AND WE MUST HAVE SOME KIND OF VIRUS. SHE SAID IF WE AREN'T BETTER IN A WEEK TO COME BACK IN... A WEEK! ARE YOU KIDDING ME! I AM READY TO BE DONE TODAY!

AFTER WE GOT HOME FROM THE DOCTOR I SAW AIMI LARK OVER PLAYING WITH THE SHOES LIKE SHE ALWAYS DOES BUT THEN I NOTICED THAT SHE WAS ACTUALLY PUTTING THEM ON CORRECTLY! SHE IS ADORABLE! I ALWAYS KNEW LITTLE GIRLS LIKE TO WEAR THEIR MOTHERS SHOES BUT I THOUGHT IT WAS WHEN THEY WERE OLDER. IT IS SO AMAZING HAVING DAUGHTERS!

  1. I'm so sorry. If Aimi Lark is doing better maybe it will be a quick deal. Gross. Maybe it was the poo in the face.

  3. I am so sorry!!! I just hope that Mali Su does not get it. That is the worst. Lysol is my friend when there is sickness in the house. And the stomach flu is the worst. I will not tell you stories of when Zack had it the first time when he was a baby and it did last like 4 or 5 days. Gratefully I did not get it, but Sam did.

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
