FAMILY HOME EVENING

For FHE this week we went to the Orem Recreation Center. We met up with Jackie and Lincoln and Brigham. The menfolk went shooting with Lincoln's gun and the womenfolk and babies went walking/talking on the track. After that fun we all went to the POOL! Our family got to wear our new swimsuits. I ended up buying a rash guard this year and so did Jake and the girls. I do not like the sun and no swimsuit was especially flattering on me so we went the rash guard route. We had a great evening at the pool. Jake did all his moves off the diving board. Aimi Lark's lip kept quivering and Mali Su couldn't figure out if she liked the somewhat chilly water. Definitely a great FHE!

What a fun FHE. I love the girls swim suits. We had nice lesson from Hailey & for our activity we made strawberry jam. It turned out so good. :)

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
