GO LINCOLN!

TODAY WE HAD LUNCH AT TUCANO'S FOR LINCOLN'S PRE-GRADUATION FESTIVITIES AND THEN WE ARE HAVING DINNER LATER WITH THEM AS WELL. WE ARE SO EXCITED FOR LINCOLN AND JACKIE AND BRIGHAM. LINCOLN GRADUATES TODAY FROM THE CHEMICAL ENGINEERING DEPARTMENT AT BYU AND IS OFF TO THE GREAT STATE OF TEXAS! WE ARE EXCITED TO BE ABLE TO VISIT THEM WHENEVER WE GO TO TEXAS TO SEE MY FAMILY.

    Sam is very jealous that you were eating at Tucano's. We are on the birthday list and so I got a coupon for buy one get one free meal. Sam is sad that it is not my favorite place and we did not go there the last couple times we have been up there. I told him we would go for his birthday.

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

 We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
