First Day of (temporary) School

We are displaced from hurricane Harvey. The school here took my kids with open arms. I have so many thoughts and emotions that maybe I will find the energy to blog later, but for now we are safe and doing well. Jake is off with the guard. We will be okay!

Malachi is 8 Years 3 Months (on August 19)

Malachi is kind when he wants to be and gruff when he's mad. We are working on it, but he is such a sweet boy and I love him so! Malachi Wes, I hope you know how much potential for good I see in you.  I know that you can do a great many things in your life and will be a great BYU student, missionary, husband, and father someday!

Aimi Lark is 10 and a half (on June 26)

Aimi Lark is creative, helpful, loving, smart and calm until her little siblings drive her to frustration.  I love that she is still innocent and loves things that are for "little girls" and I hope that lasts as long as possible.  She is a great swimmer and can hold her breath swimming under water across the hotel pool.  She and her Daddy have always been close and I love that she has that relationship.   She gives BIG kisses and they are unique. I love my sweet, recently picked for Gifted and Talented for 5th grade, kind-hearted daughter.

Solomon is 6 Years 4 Months (on August 6th)

Jake tells how while in Vietnam he brought an INVESTIGATOR to church.  Someone who is looking into possibly joining our church.  Solomon asks after the story, "What's a church inspector?" INSPECTOR=INVESTIGATOR Oh Solomon,  You are smart, cuddly, and still learning how to be the youngest. You told me you don't like how babies (who come visit) take all your stuff. You are just trying to figure out this thing called life and I love you!  Here he is dressed up for the alphabet wedding at school.  His tears were when we fasted for baby Indietta.  This is his NUMBER ONE KINDERGARTEN reader. And some silliness. (random pictures from my phone from May and June 2017)

Mali Su is 9 Years 5 Months Old (on July 1)

Recently Mali Su said, "It's so human outside right now" Meaning, "It's so HUMID outside right now" I love that sweet wonderful girl! (Pictures from my phone May/June 2016)

Marianne's Sprinkle

My dearest best friend/cousin is due with her 4th boy and I wanted to make sure she felt the love! I think babies are wonderful and should be celebrated. We had a "SPRINKLE" instead of a baby shower, and it was amazing! I think she is set for this baby to come now. I can't wait to hear what "E" name they decide on.          Here was the announcement I made.
