Shillig 4 Family

I have been gone from my blog for a bit now. I have so much to catch up on and like anytime we get behind in life I don't know where to start. Life is moving along for us. We are about to go through some big changes and are trying to make the best of it. We all know I like change. I feel determined in my own quest for better health and athletic abilities. I am trying to support my husband and be an amazing mother to my sweet children. I feel exhausted ALL THE TIME, but I know that means I am living each day the best I can! Until I unlock my blog and post pics again I will leave it at this. A little bookmark in time.

Solomon fell asleep in this unique position. We found it extremely adorable. Today he played at his friend Anaya's house and didn't have a nap so I think that made for a sleepy toddler.

Mali Su has asked to go to a fun place called boomers since we moved here. Tonight Jake took her on a birthday date to go putt putting there.  She got a hole-in-one!

 I don't know how this game they play was invented, but I love it. Solomon calls it his "setup" and Malachi calls it playing "chess." Solomon got all upset the other day yelling, "who messed up my setup!?" Malachi likes to get the best players for their challenges/battles, he's older and wiser like that. Solomon makes sure he doesn't get too cheated out of the best guys.  Keep up the imaginations boys!

He drives me completely batty. Sometimes I just want to scream at him (and do). Is our marriage perfect?  probably not Do I think our marriage is perfect?  absolutely  I am the first to tell everyone marriage is hard work. Hard work that is so worth it! I love him. I really really do. Even if he drives me bonkers (with his incessant singing & crazy ideas), he also makes my heart skip a beat. It's a fine tuned balancing act.  I make sure we are always watering the grass  to keep our marriage grass green, green as can be.  Can I improve?  of course does he think I'm perfect?  absolutely Do I think I chose just the right man for me?  without a doubt in my mind Lately this song makes me think of the way Jake must see me (the PG version of course because like any country song they throw in an alcohol reference) Thank you for your patience with me. I am going to be posting sporadically until I get all of Nov. and Dec. caught up on here.  The dates will most likely be wrong and writing short but it will be there.  Thank you all who read, we love keeping up with each and every one of you and seeing what's going on in your neck of the woods!
