Father's Day for Jacob Shillig Through the Years

2008 2010 2011 2012 2013 Happy Father's Day, Daddy! We love you! We're lucky to have you.

Happenings Around the House

This summer is shaping up to be the busiest, most overly scheduled, exhausting, time sensitive, and important for our future time in of our lives.  I don't usually wish time would speed up, I'm very big on living in the moment but right now August cannot come soon enough, August 10th to be exact.  August 9th is our last scheduled testing for law school (the NPRE).

The Kids Found the Camera

on the way home from church and had a field day taking pictures of each other.  I see that most were snapped in our subdivision so I hope that accounts for their poorly placed seat belts.  Seat belts staying on is a battle I seem to fight a lot lately.  Malachi has had a runny nose for awhile but is not on antibiotics and his nose is clearing up. Oh dear children, how I long for a fenced in backyard where you can run off all this energy.

Malachi the School Boy

Malachi started summer preschool.  He is attending the same school his sisters did the last two summers we've lived here.  I am so happy for him and he gets so excited about his lunch box. I am excited to see how well he will do at school, what he will learn, and the stories he will have to tell. The girls have already filled him in pretty well on this adventure called Pre-K.

Solomon's Date with Daddy

Solomon was up early on Friday.  This day was a teacher work day for Jake so he asked Solomon if he wanted to go with him.  We got him all ready and he was excited to go.   He is our first child to be really into stuffed animals and it is quite cute and hilarious. Here are some more pictures of Solomon and this stuffed animal he named "Bluey."
