Best Christmas Eve EVER

Tonight was the BERRYHILL Christmas party.  Michael and Linh hosted.  It was an AMAZING night!  The pictures are all out of sorts but here are some pictures to document our SPECTACULAR evening. The whole clan.  5/6 siblings, Tim, Jimmy, Bryan, Michael, and Judy.  Gig' Em.  My brother Tyler graduates from Texas A&M this May!  My dad and his friend, Sheila, "She-She" to the kids.  This was me taking a break, I am more than exhausted tonight.  LOTS of grand kids, and great-grand kids.  Jake took all three kids down the big slide together.  The kids learned to jump up and then slide down.  Aunt Judy wore herself out taking Malachi UP and DOWN the slide.  Granddad had the BEST socks of the whole night.  My brothers Tyler and Kyle being silly.  Cousin Breanna was such a great helper!  Mali Su loved her.  She came to me and asked me to help her find her cousin, she was referring to Breanna (Bryan's daughte...

Our Day

(pictures in reverse) Had breakfast with Nana. Drove through FL, AL, MS, LA, and arrived in TX. Met Nanny (my mom's mom) for ice cream at DQ where they did flip my blizzard, thank you very much. Saw my mom and sister Delaney before heading to my dad's where we are staying. He made the kids their own table from SPARE wood out of a closet he re-did in his house! We had a yummy dinner made by She-She and then relaxed after baths and toy time. Oh it's good to be home.

Merry Christmas from KOREA

Today we got CHRISTMAS from KOREA. Who knew Nestle Quik was Korean??  Obviously he's international.  These are INDIVIDUAL serving packets, PERFECT for our trip!  Do you see that awesome bag above?  It has OUR NAME on it!  If you don't already know I love things with names on it, such a personal touch.  I now want to go on a picnic with my new bag and individual servings of Nesquik! Oh baby!  I just served up dinner, the kids are in their room playing, and I'm about to pour myself a nice glass of milk and sit on my bed watching a TV show on Jake's laptop while eating these CHOCOLATEY WAFERS!  I think they might be KOREAN hippos or something, or at least I'm hoping.  Malachi heard the camera snapping and came in saying "cheese."  Then the kids chowed down on KOREAN fruit snacks and drank strawberry milk.  I told them to smile and this is what I got.  I kept taking pictures because every time I said, "SMILE"  Malachi looked ...

I'm learning to sew!

Thanks to my friend Katie teaching me one project at a time. I wouldn't consider myself a seamstress or even very good at sewing BUT sewing makes me feel so good about myself.  We made DRESSES this week, from THIS TUTORIAL .  I made two but I only have pictures of Aimi Lark's.  I have to hem Mali Su's still, probably tonight.  She is so short her's drags the ground!  When Jake measured the girls and called me with the lengths for the dresses Mali Su was 5 inches shorter, 5! The whole inspiration for this craft was because I wanted to make BIRTHDAY dresses for my girls.  I have realized that poor Mali Su will not hold out til February so she and Aimi Lark might just both wear their dresses to Aimi Lark's party.  To them they are just PARTY dresses for Birthdays, not for particular birthdays.  They also call them their "angel dresses" and I think that is because they are long dresses. Ok so here are some pictures. Don't let the simple look of th...

Disney with the WEBB family

My friend Katie let me borrow her awesome double stroller for the day (I'm picking mine up in TX over Christmas).  I was so excited but Jake was even MORE excited.  No carrying needy babies or hunching over to push our tiny strollers.  We hit up the POOH ride again, the kids love that you get to PLAY while IN LINE!  Philhar-MAGIC is such a great show, the girls now want to take pictures so this is Mali Su asking for the camera as I take her picture.  Mali Su is great at parades, she knows just how to get all the characters attention.  At one point Aimi Lark BOLTED to the back of the crowd because JAFAR from ALADDIN was coming down the street and working the crowd, we do not like the mean guys.  We were lucky enough to ride on Aladdin's MAGIC carpet after the JUNGLE CRUISE.  A 5 minute wait, I like that!  Lyric has a tradition of getting a CHURRO at Disney.  I had read online somewhere they were the BEST and so I had my first CHURRO at Di...

Christmas Lights

I have really been looking forward to visiting the Orlando LDS Temple and seeing the Christmas lights there.  We drove there tonight and were disappointed to find not only no lights but the gates locked.  I guess we really aren't in Utah anymore.  I thought all temples decorated for Christmas, I know Mesa does.  So after a minute of frustration we went on the hunt for neighborhood lights.  Boy did we find some! The first house we actually stopped at to look we let the kids get out and told them to stay on the sidewalk.   We were outside for about a minute before the owner came out and talked to us.  He was nice.  The girls told him Thank-you, Malachi grunted/signed Thank-you, and they also told him his yard was beautiful.  We looked for a little while and he told us about a house down the way that was AMAZING.   He was right!  This man had what seemed like a half acre solid of DECORATIONS and LIGHTS.  He was outside ...
