These girls...

keep ending up in bed together. This time THANKFULLY without that LIGHT BULB ! - Aimi Lark is calling the show "Little Bear" TINY BEAR. -Bugs LOVE Aimi Lark and she has so so so many bites to prove it. Mali Su and Malachi have NONE. -Mali Su is quite the sass a frass these days. -Malachi has smelly smelly gas (must be something I ate). -The girls enjoy having "screaming/yelling" contests in the car. Mali Su has a deep almost growl sound while Aimi lark takes the HIGH PITCHED scream/squeal approach. It usually makes Malachi upset and gives me a headache...their daddy would be proud. Did I mention we will see Jake in 12 days?

Some thoughts about our day

Today at church I left during sacrament meeting to feed Malachi and took Mali Su with me. Aimi Lark was sitting one pew up with my cousin Rachel so I thought it was all fine and dandy to leave her. I come back after feeding Malachi and sit down and Aimi Lark is no longer with Rachel. I start whispering around and NO ONE knows where she is. Rachel thought she went back to sit with me. Another sister in the ward sees my panic and gets up to help me look. I hand Malachi off to my teenage cousin Marcus. As the other sister and I are both walking towards the back doors of the chapel Aimi Lark is walking through the doors back into the chapel (like this is totally normal behavior of course). I about die! And to add to it as I leave to find Aimi Lark, Mali Su throws a fit so my Aunt Melba brings her out. We are all having a big pow-wow in the foyer about the events that just transpired when a nice young man tells me she was OUTSIDE before she came into the chapel! Talk about...

Red Lobster

The ULTIMATE FEAST is what I heard about for days. My brothers could not wait for their lobster and shrimp! I was a bit aggravated by the fact that the changing station was IN the handicap stall and due to a long line I just changed Malachi's diaper in my lap at the table.

(posting this on 2/6/19 playing blog catch up from the drafts I never posted on here) The ULTIMATE FEAST is what I heard about for days. My brothers could not wait for their lobster and shrimp! I was a bit aggrevated by the fact that the changing station was IN the handicap stall and due to a long line I just changed Malachi's diaper in my lap at the table.

2 MONTHS OLD

Malachi has reached the 2 month mark and we have loved every minute of having him in our family. He may have spit up about 5-6 times all over me and him at church today but he was still pleasant. He is my cuddly sleeper. I love him!

Baby Kai

is what Aimi Lark calls baby Malachi...Baby Kai. She loves to help with him. Whenever he gets fussy she hollers that baby wants his bottles (me) but on this day she actually got to feed him a bottle of milk I had pumped to take with me on my "me" day. She loved it and by the looks so did he! Mali Su of course gave me a good face for the camera (she is the queen of funny faces) and then tried to give Malachi some of her sippy cup.

A "me" Day

Today I went with my cousin/best friend Marianne to town. We made a trip to the mall, went to lunch, and then to the nail salon. Malachi tagged along and the girls hung out with our cousin RACHEL who they LOVE. When I returned to our house the tile guys had made major progress tiling about half the house. I did have a bit of a panic attack when I realized that the tile in the bathrooms did not match/coordinate with the tile we were having put in the other part of the house, but after calling some family I was reassured that the bathrooms are behind closed doors and all would be just fine. I miss Jake being here to be my sounding board at times like this.
