Bluebonnets

My 5 champions of Corona/Covid 2019.
Malachi is 11 this month and is the most helpful of all with Leila Jin.

Leila Jin is 6 months old and sits up like a champ, has started eating foods, and loves her siblings to play with her.
Mali Su is 12 and is the best at cleaning the kitchen and makes great treats during quarantine.
Solomon is 9 and always up for a game, the pool, or silliness while we are social distancing.
Aimi Lark is 13 and makes sure we all know about crafty things she sees on "5 min crafts" online.
This quarantine has been hard.
It became harder when the Guard needed Jake.
BUT it has also been amazing and I have no desire for it to end.
I feel like a walking contradiction in my feelings in all this, but I am content.
We are healthy.
We can pay our bills.
We are "stuck" in a beautiful home with those we love.

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
