Day 8
I am grateful for my loving husband. He works so hard for our family. He sent me an article today that described his business man life so well. It talked about how luxurious it is, but how lonely it can be. We work hard to stay connected even though we are apart. I am so grateful to have a successful marriage we work at each and every day.
Day 9
I am grateful for my mother and mother-in-law. I love the support from these wonderful hard working women. This picture was taken after I had Aimi Lark all those years ago. I love knowing they each have such amazing strengths I have learned from.
Day 10
I am grateful for our dear dear friends the Keetons. Jake and Kenny have been friends from church, to high school to BYU and beyond. I love that we have stayed close and kept in touch all these years. Friendships are important and valuable.
Day 11
I am grateful for the opportunity we had to raise my brothers for a portion of their lives. I love the deeper bond it has given us. I love when they send me a text or call me to ask for advice or tell me good news. I am proud of them both.
Day 12
I am grateful for my loving Nana who lives in Florida. She has always been a joyful presence in my life and I cannot get enough of her loving influence on the lives of my children. This is the house that I experienced through my early childhood in Apopka, FL. My Nana now lives in the panhandle of FL. I am grateful that she had a lifelong marriage to my Papa and I have that example. I am grateful for her mothering kindness that I try to apply as I raise my children. She has always been an example of Christ-like life and that too is something I hold dear to my heart. I love my Nana.
