When we were in Utah for Audrey's wedding we were looking through pictures from Jake's Aunt Carol. She's a family friend of the Shilligs and lives with Larkie and Seth. Jake found these pictures. Pictures taken during his baptism and confirmation. Picture taking at these events is not normally done so Jake seeing this was overjoyed to look back on that experience in his life. What a memory to think of, our baptisms, as our first born will turn 8 this year. In our church children can choose to be baptized as early as 8 years old. I love trips down memory lane and this definitely was one.
Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.
