CHRISTMAS

I am so excited for CHRISTMAS! my sweet adorable husband took aimi lark and went Christmas shopping for me last night. He came home and said he had no idea how moms with four kids did it! I am amazed myself at those women... I think even with just two babies I will be shopping online a ton more haha... here is a picture before they left...

It is so fun to see the presents under the tree and jake and I are actually going to wait and open them CHRISTMAS MORNING this year... this is something we have never done before due to spending holidays with family and last year having aimi lark...so this year we are having our own official SHILLIG 4 CHRISTMAS MORNING!

    How wonderful! Aaron would never do that- not that I'd let him take Chloe right now, but with the other kids. It can get pretty challenging shopping with 4 kids, I haven't tried it with 5 yet. Jake- you are such a good husband! Love you guys & can't wait to see you in about 2 weeks. Aimi looks adorable in her snow suit by the way.

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

 We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
