our day!

some days i am impressed with how much i can accomplish while on other days i feel as if i did NOTHING... today was a conquer the world day and it was nice...

*i was able to get up and make my husband's lunch then feed my daughter and put her back down and she slept til 9am! so nice for me because i slept too!
*we(me and aimi lark) went to playgroup at 11am after i cleaned up my entire home
*we faxed some stuff to the insurance people
*we worked on figuring out how to do an assignment jake had to turn in tonight
*we made dinner and we baked bread!

We are about to head home and watch the office with the keetons... i am very excited to relax!

    Love all the Halloween pics. I love the conquer the world days, but at the end of them I long for the nothing days - which are few & far between in this house. Everone looks so cute.

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

 We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
