APPLES!

Ok my daughter has become obsessed with APPLES! She doesn't want a piece or a bite she wants to devour the entire thing HERSELF! This was yesterday and she wanted the apple both times I had one...

I finally gave her a piece of the apple and she wanted to eat it so bad that she would bite down so hard and she would shake because she was gumming the apple slice so hard trying to eat it. But when I tried to give her a small piece to eat she didn't want it. She insisted on feeding herself!

    Too cute. It's great that she's loving fruit so much. However, I would advise getting one of those mesh food holders. You can find them at Toys R Us & Target. She'll still be able to eat & feed herself, w/out the hazard of choking on loose pieces & such. The pic w/Aimi, the gun & Jake is too cute!

20 Weeks

Today we had the opportunity to go in for our 20 week ultrasound. We are excited to announce that baby #3 is a healthy BOY! We are excited but have to admit we are a bit nervous. Change is hard and after two girls this is definitely a change. It will be a fun and wonderful experience. I have already thought about little boy ACUs and PT clothes (little army clothes) and what I will decorate the "boy" room in etc. I have always heard boys are "easier" but more rambunctious so I guess we will just have to see. I was excited that during the ultrasound our little boy was crossing his legs at the ankle like both his sisters do! So funny! We will keep y'all posted on names and other developments.

Halloween 2023

 We pulled off our best Halloween!  Possibly ever!  Jake had a vision and it came true beautifully.  He even had the cutest song he sang.  I loved our last Halloween in our Hurst home.

sometimes life may get you down

but then you remember how wonderful you husband is and it makes it all ok. Jake surprised me by ordering these gorgeous handmade pearl earrings from TINY STORM for me for Christmas and they were waiting for us with all our mail when we arrived back home after vacation. He got down on one knee and presented me with these earrings and it brought tears to my eyes. I am so grateful to have such a wonderful, hardworking, and loving husband who is always there to take care of me and love me when I am having a rough time. Thank you Jacob!
